On June 19-22, 2024, Mr. Krerkpon Rattanapoom, a PhD. student in Computer Science at Thammasat University, presented his research on “Representation Learning Technique in DNA Sequence Classification for SARS-CoV-2 and Pathogenic Viruses” at the 21st International Joint Conference on Computer Science and Software Engineering (JCSSE 2024) held in Phuket, Thailand. This research applies computer science to classify patients infected with viruses using their DNA sequence data. The presentation was supported by funding from IJC-FOODSEC, showcasing innovative methodologies in the field of DNA sequence analysis.
