IJC-FOODSEC in collaboration with TASTEBUD has organized the Workshop on the Advancement of Sample Preparation and Analysis for Feed and Food Contaminants. The Workshop, joined by more than 40 participants, was conducted to deliver the recent knowledge on contaminant detection technology. Moreover, strength and weakness of the routine analysis were analyzed and shared.

Objectives:
– To establish and strengthen networks with the relevant industries (i.e., food, feed, diagnostics and equipment vendors) an academia.
– To understand the problems and gaps in testing for food and feed contaminants.
– To obtain a list of potential projects with priority identified by the industry
