On 5 January 2016, BIOTEC held an opening ceremony of Student Internship Program for Soon Chun Hyang University (SCHU), South Korea. The program is designed for SCHU students to gain working experience conducting research in BIOTEC laboratories. Twenty four students participating in this Program come from various faculties, such as Medical Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical Engineering and Biological System. Apart from training at BIOTEC, the students also participate in field trips, visiting National Biopharmaceutical Facility and to National Research Center of Millet and Corn Field.
