Started in the UK in 2005, FameLab is an annual science communication training program and competition that run in many countries with the aims to find, develop and mentor young science and engineering communicators. In a competition, participants are allowed to explain a science concept in a clear, concise and accurate way in front of a jury and a live audience in 3 minutes. This is the first national competition held in Thailand, with the British Council as the main organizer and local partners such as the Ministry of Science and Technology, the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA), the National Science Technology and Innovation Policy Office and True Corporation Plc.
