On August 20, 2024, during the Taiwan – Thailand Industrial Cooperation Summit (TTICoS) in Taiwan, BIOTEC, Taiwan’s Food Industry Research and Development Institute (FIRDI), and Quark Biosciences Inc. (QuarkBio) signed a five-year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) focused on precision health solutions using microbial testing.
BIOTEC and FIRDI have enjoyed a partnership spanning nearly a decade. This new MoU introduces an opportunity to collaborate with QuarkBio, a Taiwan-based global leader in precision healthcare solutions.
In her congratulatory remarks, Asst. Prof. Dr. Chaowaree Adthalungrong said, “Congratulations on the MoU signing today. BIOTEC is excited to continue working with our long-term partner, FIRDI, and to begin a new collaboration with QuarkBio. We look forward to exploring new opportunities together in precision health solutions through microbial testing.”
