
2 July 2025, Thailand Science Park – FoodSERP, National Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (BIOTEC), The National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA) leaded by Dr. Kobkul Laoteng, Deputy Executive Director, Research and Development Bioscience and Biotechnology for Industry, hosted the first FoodSERP forum to introduce new innovations in food function.


At the forum, a special lecture was delivered by Prof. Dr. Chang Yaw-Nan from the Department of Biotechnology, National Formosa University, Taiwan. He discussed the design concept of health-oriented flavored coffee enriched with Bioactive Peptides (BAPS) derived from fermentation with lactic acid bacteria (LAB), which helps produce beneficial metabolites.

The launch of FoodSERP Forum #1 presents new innovations discovered in the field of food, offering alternative options for consumers and others in the future.
