BIOTEC, Hokkaido University and National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST), Japan held the first joint symposium on March 29-30, 2018. The BIOTEC-HU-AIST Joint Symposium is a fruitful result of the cooperation between Thailand; BIOTEC and Mahidol University and Japan; Hokkaido University and Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST).
This symposium provides the students from Hokkaido University and Mahidol University with an opportunity to disseminate and exchange knowledge through presentation and poster sessions. BIOTEC researchers participated in both sessions and also served as poster presentation committee. BIOTEC lab visit was arranged for participants to get glimpse into facilities and research highlights.
On 30 March 2018, Dr. Kei Kitahara and students from Hokkaido University, Dr. Kentaro Miyazaki, AIST, visited the Asia Star Trade Co., Ltd at Pathum Thani. BIOTEC-NSTDA has been engaging in the collaboration with Asia Star Trade Company for years in an effort to develop the enzymes for animals feed.
