Position 1: Transcriptome and microbiome analysis in shrimp to improve immune and growth performanceJob description:The candidate should have expertise in area of microbiology and molecular techniques including;- DNA and RNA extraction- gene expression analysis by PCR and Real-time PCR- bacterial cell culture, bacterial challenge test and plate counts- basic background on metagenome data analysis is preferred, but it is not requiredEligibility/Specific Qualifications:1. To determine bacterial diversity in intestines of the black tiger shrimp under different conditions2. To construct RNA library in juvenile black tiger shrimp to unravel gene expression responses3.
