BIOTEC joined the Sustainable Energy & Technology Asia 2017, or SETA 2017, which was held at the Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC), Bangna during March 8-10, 2017.
In this event, BIOTEC had some selected researches shown in the Ministry of Science and Technology section. Those researches were the waste water treatment system for Biogas production, ENZease: a duo-activity enzyme for one-step biodesizing and bioscouring process of cotton fabrics, and Biomass Conversion to fuels and chemicals.
Apart from various exhibitions, there were also a number of academic seminars such as the “CEO Energy Forum”, which gathered world-class energy professionals to discuss about in-depth policies on energy and cooperation in reginal level, the “CLMVT Energy Forum”, as well as the “Hybrid & EV Technology”.
The SETA 2017 is the academic seminar and exhibition held by the Ministry of Science and Technology collaborated with Chulalongkorn University, the Ministry of Energy, the Ministry of Transport and the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration. There were more than 5,000 local and international participants from government agencies and private sectors attended.
