Dr. Wonnop Visessanguan (fifth from the left), Executive Director of the National Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (BIOTEC), NSTDA, and Assistant Professor Dr. Nikhom Laemsak (fourth from the left), Vice President for Innovation and Social Engagement of Kasetsart University, attended the opening ceremony of the ‘NSTDA-KU Rice Field Day 2023.’ The event aimed to promote rice varieties, developed using modern technology, that are resistant to challenging environmental conditions. These innovations are intended for public use, with a focus on dissemination to farmers and expanding commercial availability. The event took place recently at Kasetsart University Kamphaeng Saen Campus in Nakhon Pathom Province.
